Vancouver Gastown

Built right after the big fire at the turn of the last century, Gastown is a land of cobbled streets and gas lanterns. A giant, working steam clock, authentic Victorian buildings help set off the tourist shops and restaurants. All this is all within walking distance of downtown, Canada Place, Sun Yat Sen Gardens and Stanley Park. By the way, a major Jazz Festival is held at Gastown every summer.
