ATTRACTIONS

Disney's River Country
Water Park

River Country is another example of Disney genius. After all, what could one do with a swimming hole. We've all seen the fancy water slides but River Country has got to be the perfect swimming hole. Many variations of slippery slides make for compatibility with about any age group and the waterfalls are a powerful enhancement of the flavor of absolute fun.. There's even a Disney-made white-sand beach!

Attractions include (for the Bigger Kids):

... and for the smaller ones:

For the Bigger Kids:

Water Slides

Whoop-'N-Holler Hollow
Two corkscrew body slides that land the sliders right into Bay Cove.
Slippery Slide Falls
Two winding slippery slides that zap you into the Upstream Plunge, an oversized pool of fun.

Rafting/Tubing

White Water Rapids
Hang on for an adventure in relaxation as you float through swishin' and swirlin' waters.

Swings and Stuff

Bay Cove
A half-acre recreation of an old=fashioned swimming hole - with a few modern twists. A tire swing, a 'T-bar drop' and a novel boom swing are some of the opportunities making for good, wet fun.
Barrel Bridge
Here's a unique, rather wobbly bridge just daring you to make it to the other side (without undergoing a splash into the drink).
Boom Swing
Grab the boom from the deck of this Disney-created ship and try to land yourself in the middle of the drink. See if you've got what it takes to become an expert boom swinger.
Cable Ride
Here's where you grab hold of a wooden block and try to hang on long enough to zip down a cable that's strung over Bay Lake. If you qualify as an expert, you'll splash down in the middle of Bay Lake at the end of the line.

Pools/Relaxation

Upstream Plunge
Check out some fancy dives. If the first isn't what you'd hoped, you can always try again, and again, and . . .
Cypress Point Nature Trail
A typical Deiney creation - a nature trail through native Florida cypress trees following the perimeter of Bay Lake.

For the Smaller Kids:

For the Smaller Kids

Indian Springs
A lot of upside-down showers with an occasional 'pop jet' (surprise!) for the smaller members of your party.
