Boardwalk Amusement Area
Exciting arcades, tasty snacks and a wide variety of souvenirs are waiting
for you on the famous Daytona Beach Boardwalk. In the arcades you'll find the latest in video games,
and skill games. You'll also find go-kart rides and, if you're after the
big thrill, there's the "Skycoaster" and the human sling shot.
Jutting out into the
Atlantic Ocean for about a quarter-mile is the Ocean Pier. Fishing,
here, is a popular past-time. You'll also find restaurants plus the gondola skyride and "Space Needle"
(which offer spectacular views of the beach and ocean).
Also on the Boardwalk
are 30 granite plaques which commemorate the Daytona's world famous motorsports history.
