St. Stephen's Cathedral

Though its origins date back to the 12th Century, the Giant Gate and the Towers of Heathens, the oldest portions still surviving, were built in the 13th Century. The North Tower (224 feet high) holds the largest cast bell in Austria, the Boomer Bell. An elevator takes you to an observation platform in the tower from which you'll have a great view. The taller tower (South Tower) is 448 feet high. It also contains an observation point but you must climb a very tight, spiral staircase to reach it.
