North Carolina has a full chest of shows, concerts and other attractions. You want music? They produce concerts featuring the world's best performers to satisfy tastes ranging from rock & roll, through country & western to classical. (Some of the country's top-ranking symphony orchestras and opera companies are resident in North Carolina.) And, of course, they have dog shows and horse shows, classic auto shows and aeronautical shows, garden shows and RV/boat shows.

Sit in an 18th century vintage theater or an ultra-modern, acoustically engineered theater and enjoy a Shakespeare play or the introduction of a new play performed from scripts still warm from the photocopier.
