CENTRAL AMERICA
ATTRACTIONS

Central America is a land in transition - seems like it has always been in transition. It is also a land of extreme contrasts. Wedged between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, it seems to be the all too frequent target of severe storms. Some countries (e.g., Honduras) have been almost wiped out by the flooding resulting from such storms. In contrast, Costa Rica seems to be nicely protected by the same terrain that worsens the effect of the weather on its neighbors.

Each and every country in Central America is absolutely beautiful. The lower elevations are pure tropics while the mountains present a more temperate climate and flora. The people are very friendly and anxious to help. Unfortunately, in some countries, there are those who are to be avoided.

We suggest you check out your intended destination(s) with local folks to assure a safe, pleasurable stay.
